Click on the radio links in the right column (#1 to 4) to launch Flash demos of each branded show. These files are up to 9mb (media downloads fully, then starts playing). The actual players were customized Windows Media Players, streaming a mix of Flash ads and mp3 playlists.
Spike Radio had a team of L.A.'s finest DJs, with six channels ranging from rock and electronica to jazz. It was tons of fun with a team of talented music lovers. Spike Radio closed during the dot-com crash in 2001, just as it became a profitable multimedia company with a staff of about 25. |
